What is NWK Documenters and the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice?
NJAIJ is the largest immigrant rights coalition in New Jersey, advocating for policies that protect and empower immigrants. Our coalition is made up of over 50 members, spanning labor, faith, policy, community-based, and grassroots organizations. Together, we use the power and strength of our membership to position immigrants as leaders in campaigns that advance justice, inclusion, and belonging.
NWK Documenters are defenders of community voices in the City of Newark, trained to attend and annotate public meetings. Part of a nationwide Documenter network, NWK Documenters are creating a new public record in Newark.
